What's up everybody, Grey here. Throwing down my first blog post of the NSE experience I am soon to have at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Been living in Boone all summer to get used to the mountain life and it couldn't be any better. One of my buddies is out in Colorado now and is raving about how awesome it is so I can't wait to get out there. I got the idea for doing NSE because I felt like I needed a change of pace and I really like to travel. I have never been out west before but I've only heard great things and I think making as many connections as possible in as many places as possible is nothing but beneficial down the road. The process to apply for NSE was fairly extensive but not too hard to complete and looking back I don't even think of it as being much of a hassle, probably because it is well worth it. Getting set up as a student for UCCS was a bit easier than I thought it would be. A few emails and a little bit of work on my part and next thing I know I have my student ID number. The hardest part of the whole setup was easily trying to figure out what classes I would be allowed to take and which ones would transfer over cleanly as USC credits. Huge pain in the butt but again, well worth it. As of now my two buddies from USC and I are driving out to Colorado on August 10th and taking a full week to really enjoy the drive and make it a fun road trip adventure. I am driving my car out there so that I can have my mountain bikes and a mode of transportation there. Whenever we get there my friends are gonna fly home from Denver in time for USC classes to start. Really looking forward to the road trip
