So this past week we did end up getting a bit of snow and some super cold weather but it didn't last long and is back in the 70s today. Monday was my roommates birthday so we decided to go out for dinner at an authentic Korean place which I had never been to. I am kind of an international food/culture nerd so dinner was really great and I would definitely recommend Korean food. I got through all my mid terms this past week and they all went really well. With classes being online I haven't had to study too much so that is pretty great too. This weekend was Halloween weekend and Friday night I went to a haunted attraction here called the haunted mines and it was pretty spooky. I'm also a bit of a nerd about haunted attractions and scary movies so I really appreciated the work that went into it and it set the mood for Halloween. On Saturday I made another trip into Manitou Springs to show my friend from back home around and we had a great time at the penny arcade and looking around at all the cool shops there. We got dressed up that night and hung out with some friends at another apartment and had a great Halloween. Yesterday I showed my friend around Garden of the Gods and also the North Cheyenne Canon area which are both awesome hikes with some cool views. We also got to play some mini golf with a bunch of friends yesterday which is always a great time. Overall it was a really fun Halloween week. We also just got the news that classes here are all online after Thanksgiving so I think I am going to drive back to North Carolina and hopefully be back in town before Thanksgiving or right after. Looking forward to seeing everyone from back home but I'm gonna miss it out here for sure. Definitely going to soak in these last few weeks in the mountains.

I love Korean food!! It's so good!

Congratulations on making it through Midterms! I'm sure you did great. All-in-all, it sounds like you had a super fun weekend, with a lot of good spooks and fun.

Hopefully, driving back before Thanksgiving, when there's not as much snow and ice on the roads, will be better.

Thanks for sharing this week!
