Time flies when you're having fun

Its been a couple weeks since I last updated the blog and time is flying by, I cant believe its October already. I got to go mountain bike one last time at Trestle Bike Park before the season ended so that was a ton of fun and it seemed like every mountain biker in Colorado was there. School and classes are still going very well and I definitely enjoy the small class size out here because its helped me get to know my professors a bit more and it makes the whole experience a lot more personal. Believe it or not I think I do the most homework for my rock n' roll music class than I do for any other one. It usually involves reading, watching a movie, or listening to music so its actually pretty enjoyable. I think maybe two weeks ago I was riding some dirt jumps and crashed and hit my head pretty hard. Even though I was wearing a helmet, I suffered a small concussion that sidelined me from pretty much everything but I am starting to feel normal now. I'm pretty excited that Gamecock football is back and its been fun watching the games here but I definitely miss the whole game-day atmosphere in Columbia. This week a couple friends and I drove into Manitou Springs to check out the old timey penny arcade there. It was super cool and made me feel like a teenager in the 70s. The whole town of Manitou Springs is super nice and definitely the coolest spot I've been in the area so far. The other night my suitemate and I climbed up into the bluffs behind campus and got to see a really dope sunset. I was blown away by how once you get up above the city how you can see Colorado Springs in its entirety (and its not a small city). Enjoy another sunset pic.

Thanks for the update! Glad you are getting better, concussions are no fun, but it's better then if you weren't wearing a helmet! That sunset is so beautiful! Can't wait until next time!
