Well its been about a week since I moved into my apartment on campus at UCCS. It feels way longer (not a bad thing) but I remember this feeling when I first got to USC as a freshman. I got all moved in and after about 1000 trips to Target/Walmart I think I have everything I need for the apartment. I have been doing a ton of mountain biking around the area with some new people I have met, and I even got to join the cycling club here which has been great. I met some new friends that live off campus so I have been hanging out with them a good bit too.Classes so far have gone pretty smoothly, mostly because three of them are self paced (which I work well with) and the other two lectures are pretty interesting. I also have been hanging out with a couple of the other students on exchange here and even went to pick another exchange student up from the airport today. The campus here at UCCS is breathtakingly awesome and the location of campus couldn't be any better. The size of the mountains and the surrounding area is really humbling and almost spiritual in a sense. Colorado Springs is very spaced out and it provides plenty of space to just wander around and clear my head while taking in the beauty of the area. Can't believe its only been a week so far and based on this first week, its looking like the rest of the semester is going to be awesome. Until next time...

Hey Grey, so glad this semester is off to such an amazing start! It's cool that you already have new friends and connects. These pictures are awesome! I'll be looking forward seeing more as you find more biking trials. One of my best friends from my NSE was from UCCS, so I am excited to see what cool things you discover while you're there!!
